Music - 7 Angels 7 Plagues:  Dandelion

Yeah, I haven't updated for a few days.  I've been hella sick since Monday.

I didn't go to work on Wednesday, but I did, however, get my hair cut and colored -- its waaaay hot.  I did go to work today, but I felt HORRIBLE all day.  Then I came home and slept.  I have been doing a lot of that lately, sleeping that is...I actually fell asleep in the bath tub for the past 3 days in a row.  (kinda scary)

I really wanna go to the Symphony in Peril show tomorrow night in Columbus, but I don't think I'll have a car and my brother doesn't wanna go now.   Also, I am still sick...maybe I should just hold off on seeing my friends

Well, I think thats about all.  Leave me some love, cats.

Amanda.

Music - None: once again, I have a headache.

Tonight was the Nodes of Ravier/Mewithoutyou/Everytime I Die/Norma Jean show in Cleveland.  It was great.  I got to see a lot of people I hadn't seen in a good bit.  I'd have to admit that mewithoutyou and Everytime I Die were the highlights.  Norma Jean was good (as usual) even though they didn't have a front man.  Well, they did -- they had about 100 of them, volunteers of course 'cause there vocalist was out sick.  So, really it was like Norma Jean featuring Sean Vandegrift (*mad props, baby -- you did very well*)

Alright, its off to bed - I've been up for 23 hours now and I've never been so sore in my life.  Leave me some love, nyagas.

Music - none: I have a headache.

Well, looking back on this WHOLE weekend I'd be tempted to say that it was bad.  However, that is just because we override the good with the bad.  My days have been good 'til today, actually.

Friday:  I got all ready and went to Columbus where I met up with Amanda, Andy, Moss, Jeremy, and a few other people.  We went to the show which wasn't all that good 'cept for the fact that I got to see The Pits (ahh, they are so beautiful).  Then we went to Steak 'n Shake where we ran into all the mallXkore kids that were at the show(*snickers* "losers").  Good times.

Saturday:  Amanda and I went to Kroghetto where we had a close encounter with death thanks to a scary thug.  (if you want to know more inquire below with comments) Then we picked up Andy and headed down to campus.  We met up with Jeremy and Jimmy at Houndogs and then headed to Rag-O-Rama where we spent WAAAY too much time (after we picked up some hot clothes, of course).  We then went back to Andy's apartment and watched "Ocean's Eleven".  Very good.

Ok, today (heres the kicker):  I stayed in Columbus last night because I had to pick up my brother in Cambridge.  Needless to say, I didn't get that far without some trouble.  It had snowed about an inch or so Saturday night making the roads fairly bad.  I got on 70 heading East and drove for about 20 minutes very cautiously.  Then I started to drive over a bridge and lost control and my car swung around and the back end hit a wall (the wall that keeps you from falling over the edge of the bridge).  Luckily, no one hit me because I was in the middle of the road.  So I got off at the next exit (after I got my car turned around, obviously) and calmed myself down a bit and headed on my way, afterall my brother was waiting for me to pick him up.  But, never did I know that the fun had just begun.  So, once again heading east on 70 I hit yet ANOTHER bridge and spun yet again.  This time traveling over 3 lanes of traffic and hitting the center wall.  First my back end, then the front, then the back again.  I was stuck...I was covered in the cappucino I had purchased earlier that morning and I was STUCK!  The ever-so-helpful state trooper pulled up *rolls eyes*.  We had to fill out an accident report and tow my car 'cause I wasn't about to drive it.  The trooper was making all kinds of sick jokes trying to lighten the mood like "hehe, you wrecked your car on Super Bowl Sunday, hehe" I was like "HAHA, thats not funny, dude."  So, after the statie thought I was calm enough (how nice of him to wait) he wrote me out a citation.  WHAT?!  For failure to control my vehicle.  OHH MY GOODNESS!!  Failure to control my vehicle?!  I was driving 35mph in a 65mph.  This is when I ask myself "where are the salt trucks?!"  When we have 1/4 of an inch of snow on the ground they pile the salt 2 inches high, but where?  Where are they NOW, when we need them?  UGH!  So, anyway, I sat in the "Duke Family Restaurant" for like 2.5 hours 'til my dad could make it there.  Thats right, my gracious father left church and came to pick up my brother in Cambridge and me in Newark.  Then we went and picked up my slightly battered car.  (the whole back end is messed up and the front is kinda scraped)  It was driveable so we headed home.  Michael was riding with me and I was following dad.  Then BAAAM! Once again, my car spun out of control and across the other lanes of traffic into the median where I hit the hill and could have quite easily flipped over.  Before the car even stopped, Michael was out and and cussing up a storm and the only thing I could think of was "WHY?!  Why did this happen to me 3 times in ONE DAY to me?!  I've never been in a wreck EVER even when someone else was driving."  We raced around trying to push and drive my car out of the embankment before the cops came and I got yet another citation.  Dad ended up driving my car and realizing something was wrong with my tires that made me wreck 3 times.  We made it to Cambridge and left my car there 'til the weather got better.

(Even more bad news is I don't know if I can go to the show tomorrow, it all depends.  So if anyone would like to take my brother and I, I'd be very much obiliged and would give you enough gas money for the whole trip.)

So, in conclusion, I'm happy I had a good Friday and Saturday with my friends .  I'm happy I got to see The Pits and meet new people .  I'm happy I bought some new hot clothes .  I'm sad my car is wrecked.  I'm sad all of this wrecking/snow shiz happened .  I'm sad that I'm ultra sore , but I'm happy I'm alive...I could've been killed very easily quite a few times.  So, I'm thankful, very thankful.

Music - Kid Gorgeous: Love Song

I'm in a good mood   This morning my cute manager brought me donuts.  How nice of him...Then I got off work early and came home and took a nice little nap [ahhh, power naps]  After I got up, I went to the mall, didn't buy anything, but ate an awesome sub from "Steak Escape" [yummy].

Tomorrow night is The Pits/In the Face of War/Dead Poetic show in Dayton.  Then I'm staying in Columbus with Amanda 'til Saturday afternoon.  It should be fun times for all, for sure.

I like pretzels and mustard.
